Overview

Panel of Architects, Civil/Structural and Electrical Engineering Consultants for design and implementation of capital projects within Ray Nkonyeni Municipality for 3 years. The municipality seeks professional service providers (≈20 firms: ~10 civil/structural, ~5 electrical, ~5 architectural) to act across planning, design and project management lifecycle, with selection based on functionality and 80/20 PPPFA-based scoring.

Requirements

• Must be members in good standing of CESA and SAIA; at least one company owner must be a Registered Professional with ECSA or SACAP; electrical firms must be in Eskom’s database.
• PI insurance minimum R5,000,000 per claim, valid for contract duration; evidence required with tender.
• Proof of professional registration (ECSA/SACAP) for owners; SACPCMP registration and LIC/NQF 7/5 competency certificates where applicable.
• Company registration documents, IDs for directors/owners, Tax Compliance Certificate or TCS PIN, CSD registration (or proof thereof if TCS unavailable).
• Returnable documents: MBD 1,2,3,4,5.x,7.x,8,9; joint venture agreements if any; company profile; appointment letters and references; proof of SACPCMP and LIC where relevant; Rates Clearance Certificate.
• Curriculum Vitae: two pages max per candidate, with references.
• Evaluation includes Stage 1: eligibility and functionality (minimum 85% for functionality to progress); Stage 2: 80/20 preference (local and Black ownership goals apply).
• Insurance and professional indemnity, publicity and confidentiality provisions apply per standard professional-services contract (CIDB-based framework; see attached documents).
