Overview

Panel of qualified service providers for repairs and maintenance of Council Fleet for a period of three (3) years. Ray Nkonyeni Municipality invites bids from service providers with proven fleet repair and maintenance capabilities for light and heavy-duty vehicles to be listed on a three-year panel.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant repairs/maintenance experience (light and heavy-duty vehicles).
• At least 1 qualified mechanic with 4+ years’ experience and hydraulics capability (certificates and CVs with references).
• Fully functional workshop capacity (site inspection).
• Compliance: Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; Tax Compliance status; SAQA verification for any foreign qualifications; valid RMI certificate for quoted category.
• Non-state-employees prohibition; bids valid for 120 days.
• Bidding documents: official forms (MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and RNM/MBD 3.2 Pricing Schedule; attachments as specified.
• Preference system: 80/20 with specific goals (EME/QSE owned by black people) scoring up to 20 points.
• Joint ventures require appropriate agreements and entity-specific pre-qualification forms.

• Documents to submit: official bid response forms (not retyped), RNM/MBD 3.2 Pricing Schedule, MBD 4/6.1/8/9 declarations, company registration, IDs, tax clearance or TCS/CSD once applicable, JV agreements if any.
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; tax clearance; proof of SAQA validation for foreign qualifications; RMI certificate; proof of ownership for specific goals.
