Overview

Panel of qualified service providers for the supply of new tyres, and tyre puncture repair services for the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality fleet for a period of three (3) years. Bidders should be tyre suppliers or fleet-maintenance workshops with capacity to supply, fit tyres and perform puncture repairs, including call-out capability, and must meet CSD and SARS tax/compliance requirements with a workshop located within RNM jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Compulsory clarification meeting: 11 September 2026, 10h00, at 10 Connor Street, Port Shepstone (Council Chambers).
• Capability: two or more light delivery vehicles; eNATIS proof of registration.
• Experience: 2–5+ years in supplying/fitting tyres and puncture repairs; provide a company profile.
• Site inspection: workshop/site capacity scoring (up to 20 points).
• Delivery: tyres to be supplied, fitted and repaired within seven days of PO.
• Registrations: Service provider must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); provide proof.
• Tax: comply with SARS; provide TCS/PIN or CSD number if no TCS.
• State employees prohibition; bids valid for 120 days.
• Documents: complete official bid forms (see RNM/MBD attachments) and submit copies of company docs, IDs, tax clearance, and declarations (MBD 4/6.1/8/9).
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference with 20 points for specific goals; workshop/site capacity and experience contribute to quality scoring.
• Pre-conditions: workshop within RNM jurisdiction; maximum 3-hour call-out time.
