Overview

This tender is for a Performance Based Contract for the maintenance of the KWS Gate – Lokichar (A1) Road. It is funded via the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF); bidders must be registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories 4, 5 or 6.

Requirements

• Mandatory submissions with bid: copy of Certificate of Incorporation; valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (categories 4–6); valid Tax Compliance Certificate; recent CR 12; AGPO registration (PWD); PBC certificate for at least one director; pages serialized; bound tender documents.
• Other qualifications: relevant similar experience; competent professional/technical personnel; current workload; compliance with PPADA, anti-canvas, and fair-employment declarations; JV rules if applicable; nationality/ownership disclosure; local content (40% of inputs from Kenyan sources for foreign bidders).
• Additional: NCA registration before contract award; environmental/compliance checks; site visits as required by the detailed tender notice; competitive behavior safeguards and audit rights.
