Overview

This tender is a Performance Based Contract (unpaved) for the maintenance of the Ukia–Matiliku (B107) Road. It is funded through the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF) and targets NCA-registered bidders in categories 5–7, with AGPO Women eligibility. The work is procured by KeNHA and the regional office is Machakos (Lower Eastern).

Requirements

• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
• Copy of valid National Construction Authority Annual Practising Licence (NCA) in classes 5–7
• Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of CR 12 form (issued within last six months)
• Copy of AGPO registration in WOMEN category
• PBC Certificate for at least one Director
• Bidding rules: max two tenders per bidder in this FY; directors/companies with ongoing works or prior awards may be disqualified; 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers (for foreign bidders)
• Tender documentation must be serialized; pre-bid/site visit mandatory; adherence to PPADA and related rules

• Submission must be in a plain sealed envelope, clearly marked with tender name and reference, to the Regional Director – Lower Eastern, Machakos, or deposited in the Tender Box at the office (TENDER DOCUMENT)
• Deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00
• Submit: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, JV documents if applicable, authorization to sign, qualifications, and technical proposal
