Overview

Performance Based Contract for Maintenance of Mrima/Malamba – Shimba Hills - Mwabungo (B98) Road. Bidders registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories NCA 5, 6 or 7, including women-owned firms under AGPO, are invited to bid for maintenance funded by the Road Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF).

Requirements

• Mandatory documents to accompany bid: Certificate of incorporation; Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence; Valid Tax Compliance Certificate; CR 12 form (issued within 6 months); AGPO registration in WOMEN category; page-by-page serialization of tender documents; PBC Certificate for at least one director.
• Eligibility and capacity: NCA category 5–7; compliance with PPADA and anti-corruption/competition rules; no ongoing works or disqualifications as specified; foreign bidders must meet local content requirements (40% inputs from local suppliers).
• Additional qualifications: similar prior experience, qualified professional/technical personnel, current workload considerations; JV rules if applicable; pre-qualification and site visit requirements as per tender data.
• Materials and procurement rules: origin and origin verification as required; registration with NCA for contract execution; tax obligations fulfilled.

• Submission method and deadline: sealed tender to the Office of the Regional Director – Coast Region, KeNHA Coast Regional Office, Mahindi Road Off Shimanzi Road, Mombasa; include ORIGINAL and COPIES as specified (Tender Document). Deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, Bills of Quantities, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture documents if any, confirmations of authorizations, and required qualification evidence (Tender Document).
