Overview

Procurement of a Performance-Based Contract for the Maintenance of Murang’a-Sagana (B25) Road. Funded through the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF). Eligible bidders: construction firms registered with the National Construction Authority in NCA Category 5–7; Youth-owned bidders under AGPO; and compliance with PPADA/embodied restrictions.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications (submit with bid):
  • Copy of Certificate of incorporation
  • Copy of Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (classes 5, 6 or 7)
  • Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Copy of recent CR12 form (issued within last 6 months)
  • Copy of AGPO registration for Youth category
  • Serialise all tender pages
  • Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one Director
• Other requirements:
  • Demonstrated similar previous experience; qualified professional and technical personnel; current workload; eligibility
  • Compliance rules: bid for max two tenders; only one award per bidder; directors with FY 2025-2026 awards may be ineligible; no canvassing; 40% local content for foreign bidders; NCA registration prior to contract award; JVs may require exemption from Competition Authority
