Overview

Performance-based contract for maintenance of road lighting on James Gichuru Road Junction - JKIA - Mazao Road - Gateway Overpass (A8/B10) Road. KeNHA invites bids from electrical contractors registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories NCA 1–5 (Electrical) and with Energy & Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) Class A or B, for funding through the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF). The scope covers ongoing maintenance of road lighting along the specified route, with potential rehabilitation/improvement works as per the tender data.

Requirements

• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
• Copy of valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (Electrical)
• Copy of valid EPRA Annual Practising Licence (Electrical)
• Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of recent CR 12 form (issued within last 6 months)
• Serialise all pages of the tender submission
• Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one Director
• Additional: relevant prior experience, qualified personnel, current workload
• Eligibility controls: bid no more than two tenders; directors with FY2025–2026 awards ineligible; JV restrictions; compliance with PPADA; 40% local inputs for foreign bidders; NCA registration; anti-corruption declarations

How to Apply
