Overview

This tender is a performance-based contract for the maintenance of road lighting on the Ngong Road Interchange – Gitaru (A8S) Road. Eligible bidders are construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in Electrical categories 1–6 and registered with the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) in Class A, B or C, funded via the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF). A mandatory pre-tender site visit is required. Submissions are via plain sealed envelopes.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications:
  • Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
  • Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (Electrical)
  • Valid EPRA Annual Practising Licence (Electrical)
  • Tax Compliance Certificate
  • Recent CR 12 form (issued within last 6 months)
  • PBC Certificate for at least one director
  • Serialise all tender pages
• Site-visit representation by one Technical Person (Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering) with original and certified documents (ID, diploma, professional registration, company letterhead/introduction with stamp); each bidder may use one representative per company.
• Other eligibility controls (e.g., compliance with PPADA, fair employment, no canvassing)
