Overview

Procurement of a Performance Based Contract for the maintenance of road lighting on Kikuyu-Ndenderu-Ruaka (Western Bypass) (B33/B115) road. Bidders should be eligible construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in Electrical categories (NCA 1 or 2) and registered with EPRA in Class A or B; funding is via the Road Maintenance Fuel Levy Fund (RMLF).

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications (submit with bid):
• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
• Copy of Valid Annual Practising Licence with NCA (Electrical)
• Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of CR 12 form (issued within last 6 months)
• Serialise all tender pages (page numbering)
• Copy of PBC Certificate for at least one director
• Other eligibility/compliance:
• Similar previous experience (where applicable)
• Professional and technical personnel
• Current work load
• Compliance with PPADA/Board requirements, including local content rules and canvassing prohibitions
• Limits on bid participation (max two tenders per bidder; disqualifications for multiple tender activity; ongoing works as of closing date; JV rules)
• NCA registration before contract award; cross-border/foreign input rules; 40% local content requirement for foreign bidders
