PERIODIC MAINTENANCE OF ROADS IN LWANDANYI WARD LOT 1

Overview

The County Government of Bungoma invites bids for the Periodic Maintenance of Roads in Lwandanyi Ward Lot 1 (roadworks), open national competition requiring NCA road-works registration at category 8 or above. Eligible bidders include local Kenyan contractors; joint ventures are allowed per ITT.

Requirements

• NCA registration for road works (category NCA 8+) with a valid annual practicing license
• Tax compliance certificate (KRA) and KRA PIN/VAT
• CR 12 certificate for companies (recent, within 6 months)
• Single Business Permit and business registration documentation
• Bid security of KSh 60,000
• Duly filled Form of Tender, Confidential Business Questionnaire, Bills of Quantities
• Clear copies of directors’ national IDs/passports (per CR12)
• Pre-tender/site visit mandatory (10 Nov 2026) with site-visit certificate
• Tender submissions through IFMIS portal (manual submissions not accepted)
• Foreign bidders must meet domestic-input and other PPRA/TDS conditions
• JV requirements as per ITT (if applicable)

• Submit via IFMIS Supplier Portal (www.supplier.rteasury.go.ke as per document); deadline 17 Nov 2026 at 11:00 local time (ADVERT)
• Site visit and pre-bid conference: 10 Nov 2026, 10:00 at Department of Roads, Infrastructure and Public Works boardroom (certificate evidence of attendance)
• Documents to prepare and submit: Form of Tender, Joint Venture if applicable, Qualifications information, Technical proposal, Bills of Quantities, and other documents listed in ITT 11.1
