Overview

NHLS invitation to bid for the placement of automated chemistry analysers (including reagents, consumables and a five-year service contract) across Western Cape and Northern Cape laboratories. Bidders should be experienced suppliers/manufacturers of clinical chemistry analysers, with capabilities to supply reagents, QC materials, calibrators and ongoing service, and to meet regulatory and quality requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, IMDRF approvals). Essential credentials include tax clearance or PIN, CSD registration, B-BBEE compliance, and occupational health and safety adherence.

Requirements

• ISO 13485 compliance (manufacturers) and OHS compliance documentation.
• Product must be approved by IMDRF-regulatory authorities (certificates provided).
• Tax clearance or SARS PIN; CSD registration (one per consortium member if applicable).
• B-BBEE status documentation (certificate or sworn affidavit) for preferential procurement points.
• Attendance at compulsory briefing and adherence to NHLS General/Special Conditions of Contract.
• Clear subcontractor arrangements (if any) with signed agreements.
• Pricing must follow the provided template; 5-year total cost including analysers, reagents, QC materials, calibrators, consumables, and training.
