Overview

Procurement of placement of haematology analysers for small and medium laboratories in the Eastern Cape, including reagents, consumables, service and maintenance for a period of five years. Bidders should have capabilities to supply haematology analysers and related services, plus LIS interface, and meet regulatory and procurement requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, IMDRF approvals, B-BBEE, tax/CSD compliance).

Requirements

• Compliance with NHLS General and Special Conditions of Bid and Contract; mandatory briefing attendance.
• Tax clearance status or CSD registration; provide PIN or CSD report; separate PIN/CSD for consortium members.
• B-BBEE: complete the Preferential Procurement Claim form and provide verification or sworn affidavit.
• IMDRF regulatory certification and ISO 13485 certification; provide proof with bid.
• Ability to interface with LIS (TrakCare) and provide 30-minute UPS backup with surge protection.
• 24/7 support with on-site engineer and defined response times (urban ≈2h, rural ≈4h); security clearances for staff.
• Compliance with bid format (two envelopes: BID/Proposal and PRICING) and signature on all documents.
