Overview

Eskom Holdings is procuring the Port Rex Fire Protection System under a NEC3 Term Service Contract, covering inspection, servicing, testing and supply of spares for the Port Rex Fire Protection System at Port Rex Power Station. Suitable bidders include contractors with fire-protection systems, maintenance/servicing experience, and NEC3 TSC3 capability, preferably with CIDB registration and strong safety/OHS credentials. A compulsory site clarification meeting is scheduled for 23 July 2026 at Port Rex Gas Turbine (confirm attendance by 12:00 on 22 July 2026).

Requirements

• Eligibility and compliance: must meet tender criteria, not be restricted by Eskom/National Treasury, not submit multiple tenders (except where allowed on E-Tendering), not be on the Tender Defaulters list, and not subcontract 100% of the scope.
• Mandatory documents and agreements: SBD 1/4/6.1/6.2, Annexures A–J, Tax Evaluation questionnaire, Integrity Pact, CIDB/CSDG where applicable, CPD/CSD requirements, E-tendering manuals. (see Annexures and attachments listed in the ITT; e.g., Annexure A–J and Attachment 12–13).
• Local content and CPA: CPA local/foreign content declarations (Annexures E–G), with required Local Content Declaration schedules (G1–G4).
• Technical and safety: functionality criteria apply; OHS and safety documentation, Life-saving Rules acknowledgements, and related safety attachments.
• Pricing and bid data: Pricing Schedule/BOQ in PDF and Excel; pricing evaluated with specified rules (VAT inclusive, arithmetical checks, NPV considerations).

How to Apply
