Overview

Prequalification for repair and service of G.K motor vehicles, motor cycles, plant and regrinding services (Tender No. BGM/CNTY/013/2026/2027/2028) issued by the Bungoma County Commissioner. Open prequalification under National Competitive Bidding; targeting contractors/suppliers/service providers with capabilities in vehicle/plant maintenance and grinding services. JV participation is allowed under the rules described in the ITA.

Requirements

• Eligibility, qualifications, and integrity standards per ITA (no conflicts of interest, not debarred, etc.).
• Tax/compliance proofs: Tax Clearance (TCC), PIN/VAT, trading license, Certificate of Registration/Incorporation, CR12, Confidential Business Questionnaire.
• Financial capacity and experience: demonstrated financial resources and past contract experience; forms FIN-3.1, FIN-3.2 with supporting statements.
• JV rules: JV members jointly and severally liable; only one prequalified applicant may tender; specialized subcontractors allowed under ITA 25.2 with added qualifications.
• Documentation and process: applications must be sealed, serialized, and submitted with an application letter, eligibility and qualification documents, and form sets (Section IV).
• Compliance areas: anti-corruption, non-collusion, and other KPIs as specified; environmental and legal considerations as per the ITA.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 29 June 2026 at 10:00 local time. Extensions may occur via Addendum (see ITA on amendments) (TENDER NO. 13 PDF; Bungoma notice also confirms 29 June 2026 10:00).
• Submission method: hard-copy applications by post or hand/courier to the County Commissioner Bungoma; sealed envelopes clearly marked with the PQ reference and tender title; tender box at the County Commissioner’s entrance. Electronic submission not indicated as an option (as per PDS).
• Documents to submit: Application Submission Letter; Eligibility declarations; Qualifications data; Form ELI (Applicant Information); JV information if applicable; financial statements; tax clearance; PIN/VAT; trading license; CR12; Confidential Business Questionnaire; company profile; and any other documents specified in Section IV (attached document).
