PREFERRED SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR VARIOUS MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR COEGA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION - FENCING MAINTENANCE

Overview

CDC aims to appoint multiple Preferred Service Providers for maintenance across several disciplines at Coega Development Corporation, including Fencing Maintenance (and General Building, Roofing, and Plumbing). Bidders must be CIDB-registered with the specified designations (2GB+ for General Building; 2SN+ Roofing; 2SO+ Plumbing; 2SQ+ Fencing), with JV bids requiring combined ratings. The objective is a 5-year SLA (60 months) for reactive/corrective maintenance, with 3–5 providers per discipline, within Nelson Mandela Bay.

Requirements

• CIDB registration with required contractor grading for each discipline; JV combinations must meet combined minima.
• Active CIDB status from bid closing through award; proof of CIDB registration if not yet active.
• VAT registration and VAT-inclusive pricing; tax compliance verified via CSD/SARS.
• SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate as applicable (or JV/consortium certificates for combined entities).
• CIPC registration (no deregistered entities); if in JV, ensure no overlap across bids.
• Public service prohibition: no participation by current public servants.
• Appoint an Overall Project Team Leader with authority to sign submissions and act as CDC contact.
• POPI Act consent forms completed; OHSE compliance and development of OHSE management systems.
• Office establishment within Nelson Mandela Bay; proof required within 10 days of appointment.
• Bid validity: 24 weeks from bid closing.
• Tender documents must be downloaded from the CDC site or National Treasury portal.
