Overview

PREFERRED SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR VARIOUS MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR COEGA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INCLUDING PLUMBING MAINTENANCE (CDC/251/26). The CDC seeks reactive/corrective maintenance suppliers for multiple disciplines (General Building, Roofing, Plumbing, Fencing) on CDC-managed buildings within Nelson Mandela Bay; bidders must hold the CIDB grades listed for each discipline, have a local NMB office, and meet localisation/BBBEE and tax/compliance requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: minimum grades per discipline (e.g., 2GB+ for General Building, 2SN+ for Roofing, 2SO+ for Plumbing, 2SQ+ for Fencing); JV/consortia must meet combined minimums.
• Local presence: office establishment in Nelson Mandela Bay; proof required (lease or municipal bill) within stated timeframes.
• Compliance: VAT and tax compliance; CSD registration; SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate where applicable; occupational health and safety and other statutory obligations.
• Contract framework: five-year SLA (60 months); clear turnaround times and performance monitoring.
• Documentation: complete SBD forms, pricing schedules, POPI consent, certificate of authority, sworn affidavits where required, and CIDB proof; bidders must submit in the prescribed format.
