Procurement for Supply and Delivery of a 20-meter EPDM door seal strip to iThemba Labs Faure Western Cape. Suitable bidders are suppliers of EPDM door seals with the ability to deliver to iThemba LABS Faure, Western Cape, and who are on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with tax-compliant status. Bidders should be familiar with PPPFA 2022, and prepared to provide B-BBEE documentation and the required RFQ forms.

Requirements

• 20 meters of EPDM door seal strip, black, 12–14 mm base, 7 mm height, D-shape, no self-adhesive (or preferred), similar to RS 837-2114. (Schedule 1 – Specification, RFQ ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) door seal strip.pdf)
• Delivery to iThemba LABS, Faure 7131; lead time to be indicated.
• Price valid for 60 days from closing date; prices inclusive of VAT.
• Payment terms: 30 days from receipt of invoice; option for shorter terms (7/14 days) by mutual agreement; advance payments may require a payment guarantee.
• Mandatory documents: SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure); SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with BBBEE or sworn affidavit; Pricing schedule; CSD Summary Report; CSD registration; tax-compliant status PIN.
• PPPFA 2022 80/20 preferences (price 80, specific goals 20); specific goals include BBBEE status and ownership categories.
• Bidders must be on the CSD to be considered.
