Overview

Procurement for the supply and servicing of sanitary and hygiene services to Sterkspruit and Steynsburg depots for DPWI officials over 24 months. Bidders should be experienced service providers in sanitary/hygiene services with competencies in hygiene equipment servicing, waste disposal, safety standards (SABS/OSHA), and relevant regulatory compliance; preference will be guided by PPPFA 80/20 and local Eastern Cape locality.

Requirements

• Compliance and registrations: CSD registration, SARS Tax Compliance PIN (or Tax compliance status), SBD1/SBD4/SBD3.1/SBD6.1, Annexure A, and proof of B-BBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs).
• Industry standards and approvals: membership in a recognized cleaning association (NCCA or CASA or BEECA) and Waste Disposal Authorization with approved disposal arrangements for feminine hygiene waste; use of SABS-approved chemicals; MSDS for all chemicals.
• Technical scope: supply 21 sanitary bins, weekly servicing and disposal, replace any broken equipment, 50 micron liners weekly, seven-day service cycle, 24-hour remedial action, and 3-hour urgent response.
• Quality, safety, and governance: adherence to OSH standards, PPE and uniforms, appropriate vehicle branding, and compliance with GCC/GCC-based Special Conditions; contract duration 24 months with performance security.
