Overview

Procurement of a 24/7/365 Threat Detection and Response (TDR) service for the Road Accident Fund (RAF) for a period of five years. The RAF seeks a qualified security services provider to monitor, detect, contain and remediate IT threats across RAF environments, including Microsoft Sentinel TDR, with required SOC capabilities and integration. Requirements

• Microsoft accreditation: Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security with Advanced Specialisation in Threat Protection or Cloud Security.
• Track record: minimum three reference letters (Managed SOC/TDR/MDR) or a table of recent references (last 7 years).
• Operational center: must operate a South Africa-based Security Operations Center with documentary proof (e.g., utility bill or lease).
• Compliance and registrations: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN or tax clearance), Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, CIDB registration if applicable; JV agreements if a joint venture.
• Certifications and indemnities: Professional Indemnity cover including privacy/cyber liability; compliance with privacy by design; ability to permit RAF audits.
• Mandatory and security requirements: adhere to RAF security, privacy, and information-handling controls; formal transition plan and knowledge transfer.
