Requirements

• OEM authorisation (proof of partnership with the original equipment manufacturer).
• Post-warranty service/technical support for at least five years; include a manufacturer letter committing this.
• Tax clearance: SARS PIN/TCS or CSD registration; if JV, each party must provide proof; CSD number required.
• Prices must be VAT-inclusive, quoted in ZAR, with firm prices for the tender period.
• Mandatory technical compliance (Phase 3): ultrasonic spray head (>35 kHz, interchangeable heads), integrated flow control, thin-film capability, metering pump, ≤1 µL/pulse, compatible with water/alcohol/solvent coatings, XY ≥300×300 mm, Z ≥100 mm, ≤5 µm resolution, 90° rotation, PC-based control, 240 V, fume extraction, substrate size ≥300×300 mm, training after commissioning (4 Mintek personnel), and 5-year post-warranty support.
• Delivery within 6 months of award; minimum 24-month warranty; training for four Mintek staff; ongoing support for at least five years after warranty.
• Evaluation uses an 80/20 PPPFA framework; minimum 70 points for functionality; references (3 letters) and delivery commitments needed.
