Overview

Procurement of catering services for research and innovation at the University of Fort Hare. The UFH invites bids from professional caterers to provide end-to-end catering for a SARChI Launch at Alice Campus (about 80 people), including morning tea, lunch, desserts, and beverages, in line with RFQ 0124.SM/2026 and the attached SARChI catering specifications. Bidders must meet UFH SCM requirements (CSD registration, original tax clearance, BBBEE) and submit via email by the stated deadline.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration mandatory
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate
• BBBEE compliance (provide B-BBEE status and related documentation; attach CSD summary report)
• Ability to deliver catering for ~80 attendees per SARChI specs (morning tea, lunch, desserts, beverages) with dietary options as required
• Complete SBD forms and UFH pricing documentation (SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.2 Part 1 & 2, SBD 8, SBD 9) and Pricing Declaration/Range; adherence to UFH procurement rules
