Overview

Procurement of catering services for the University of Fort Hare's Social Science and Humanities. The UFH invites suitably qualified catering service providers to quote for campus catering, with price-based evaluation (80/20; or 90/10 depending on rand value) and BBBEE considerations. Conditions include Original Tax Clearance, CSD registration, and BBBEE status. Submissions are via email, with a closing date of 12 October 2026 by 10:00, and detailed specs in the attached RFQ (RFQ-0117.SM/2026).

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) is compulsory.
• Submit an Original Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Provide BBBEE status level of contributor (certificate or sworn affidavit).
• Adhere to the 80/20 (price vs goals) scheme (90/10 if applicable by rand value).
• Attach the CSD Summary report.
• Complete and submit standard bid documents: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points), SBD 7.2 (Contract - Rendering of Services), SBD 8 (Past SCM Practices), SBD 9 (Independent Bid Determination). (See RFQ-0117.SM_.docx)
