Requirements

• Mandatory technical compliance for sleeper chairs (manual chair-bed conversion, bed length ≥190 cm, max chair width, load ≥150 kg, steel frame, wipeable covers, no electrical components, locking and safety features, 24-month warranty minimum).
• Mandatory mat specifications for a 3-door entrance: outdoor scraper mat plus indoor wiper/absorber mat per door, dimensions to openings, materials (outdoor moulded rubber, indoor nylon carpet), nitrile backing, low-profile edges, slip/fire performance, and dual-season performance with written cleaning instructions.
• Documentation and pre-qualifications: completed compliance sections, brand/model with photos, manufacturer datasheet, warranty and spare-parts list, cleaning instructions, references, Beneficial Ownership Disclosure, price schedule, country of manufacture, and delivery terms.
• Delivery and payment: delivery within 8 weeks of order, quotations valid at least 120 days, payment within 30 days of invoice, goods must be new, and margin preference of 20% for indigenous Malawian bidders; compliance with Malawi GCC.
• Evaluation: mandatory compliance checks, technical evaluation with possible sample testing, and value-for-money ranking against price, warranty, and support.
