Overview

The University of Fort Hare is procuring lab equipment and related consumables (chemicals, PPE, and laboratory supplies) for its labs; suitable bidders are suppliers of laboratory equipment and chemical consumables with CSD registration and tax clearance.

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration is compulsory
• Supplier must be registered on the University of Fort Hare Database
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate
• Compliance with UFH SCM policies and university policies (GBV, Code of Ethics, Anti-Fraud)
• Complete SQD Form 1 and the Price Declaration; include Pricing Schedule(s)
• Submit SBD forms: SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest), SBD 6.1 (BBEE), SBD 8 (Past SCM practices), SBD 9 (Independent Bid Determination)
• Bid must be valid for 90 days; bid must be in response to RFQ114NM2026
• Evaluation uses 80/20 price versus specific goals (51%+ women ownership)
• Compulsory briefing: N/A (no briefing required) and submission must follow UFH rules
