PROCUREMENT OF MICROSCOPES

Overview

Procurement of twenty-five microscopes meeting attached specification for the University of Fort Hare. Bidders should be suppliers of scientific/educational equipment capable of meeting the specification and complying with UFH SCM policies, including CSD and UFH database registration and tax clearance.

Requirements

• 25 microscopes with features per RFQ119NM2026.-Specification.pdf (achromat objectives 4X/0.10, 10X/0.25, 40X/0.65, 100X/1.25; binocular 30° EZ tube; LED illumination; mechanical stage; Abbe condenser; preset diopters; 10 ml oil for 100X; dust cover; 25 SA power cord).
• Original Tax Clearance Certificate; complete SQD Form 1; registration on CSD and UFH supplier/database.
• Compliance with SCM policies; acceptance that UFH may award or not; no late quotes; price-based evaluation with 20 points for Specific Goals (51%+ women ownership).
• Compliance with GBV policy, Code of Ethics, Anti-Fraud/Craud policies; BBBEE documentation via SBD forms.
