PROCUREMENT OF PROFESSIONAL CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW DUMALISILE TRADITIONAL COUNCIL FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF COGTA

Overview

Procurement of professional civil and structural engineering services for the construction of the new Dumalisile Traditional Council for the Department of Cogta. Open to professional service providers with Civil/Structural engineering capability, including ECSA-registered engineers, able to deliver professional services for a construction project under a CIDB Professional Services contract. Key qualifications include CSD registration and tax compliance, at least one director registered with ECSA, and the ability to secure Professional Indemnity insurance after appointment.

Requirements

• At least one director must be registered with ECSA as Professional Engineer/Professional Engineering Technologist (Civil/Structural).
• Bidder must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) prior to award; provide proof with bid if possible; tax matters must be in order (SARS PIN or CSD status).
• Bidders must be tax compliant and not listed on restricted tender defaulters registers; provide required declarations and ensure good standing with SARS/compensation fund where applicable.
• Bidders must be legal entities (company, partnership or consortium) and be willing to undergo security screening/vetting prior to award; submit required signed forms (SBDs, Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, etc.).
• The contract will be governed by CIDB Professional Services Contract (Third Edition, 2009); the preferred bidder must provide a Professional Indemnity Policy after appointment.
• Bidder must have suitable experience in delivering similar professional civil/structural services and provide project references as part of returnable documents.
