PROCUREMENT OF SURFACE AIR COOLERS FOR KPONG GENERATING STATION (KGS)

Overview

Procurement of twenty-four Surface Air Coolers (SACs) for KPONG Generating Station, including design, manufacture, testing, supply and delivery. Open to firms and individuals from all countries for bank-financed projects, subject to meeting the procurement documents and payment of a non-refundable tender fee.

Requirements

• Open to international bidders (economic/financial standing and technical capacity as per procurement documents).
• Pay a non-refundable tender fee of USD 100 to obtain documents (bank details provided; proof of payment required).
• Obtain Tender Documents by email to sesd@vra.com (see document: Download the notice).
• Submit tenders in a sealed outer envelope with the original plus three copies; include a written power of attorney attached to the Tender; mark as “Do Not Open Before” the specified date.
• Tender validity until 04 May 2027; Tender language: English.
• Main site: KPong Generating Station, Eastern Region, Ghana; Award criteria include more than price (as stated in the procurement documents).

How to Apply

• Obtain Tender Documents by paying USD 100 non-refundable fee (bank details above) and emailing a scanned payment slip to sesd@vra.com.
• Prepare the Tender: sign the original, attach power of attorney, make three copies, and ensure the outer envelope is sealed and marked as required.
• Submit to the address indicated in the procurement documents by the closing date/time: 05 November 2026 at 13:00 GMT.
• Language: English; documents to be sent in the formats required by the procurement documents; see the attached notice for details (Download the notice).
• If needed, the process may be subject to Ghana’s Public Procurement Authority review.
