Procurement of Vmware licenses for a period f 24 months

Overview

Procurement of VMware licenses including 24 months of maintenance and support for 352 VMware vSphere Foundation licenses (SKU: VCF-VSP-FND-8). Open to ICT vendors with VMware Broadcom accreditation; bidders must meet SCM requirements (CSD registration, tax compliance, BBBEE) and supply the standard bid documents.

Requirements

• Accredited VMware/Broadcom Partner/Reseller with valid accreditation letter/certificate.
• Up-to-date Central Suppliers Database (CSD) registration; provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number; if part of a joint venture, each party must submit separate TCS/CSD.
• Complete SBD documents: SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; include BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; where applicable, complete SBD 6.2 for local production.
• Pricing must be VAT-inclusive and cover 24 months maintenance for 352 licenses; submit using Annexure B (Compliance & Costing) with the attached Excel template.
• Comply with GCC, PFMA, PPPFA, and related regulations; bids valid for 120 days; late bids rejected; no compulsory briefing session per ToR.
• Observing confidentiality and IP terms as per DPME SLA and ToR Annexure A.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 12 November 2026 at 11:00 (closing time).
• Submission: sealed envelope dropped in the Tender Box at 330 Grosvenor Street, Hatfield, Pretoria; clearly mark with reference DPME 13 2026/27.
• Documents: one original + five copies; complete SBD forms (SBD 1, 4, 6.1); Annexure B (Excel) for pricing; VMware accreditation letter; CSD/BBBEE documents.
• Registrations: CSD up-to-date; tax compliance PIN; BBBEE status.
• Briefing: no mandatory briefing session (per ToR Annexure A).
• Documents availability: DPME bid documents available free from the DPME website/offices.
