Overview

Request for Proposals for professional civil and electrical engineering, project management, quantity surveying, and health & safety agent services for the rehabilitation of airside pavements at OR Tambo International Airport. Airports Company South Africa invites bids across four disciplines for a 30-month engagement to rehabilitate airside pavements at ORTIA (ORTIA). Suitable bidders are consultancies with NEC3 PSC experience in civil/electrical engineering, project management, quantity surveying, and construction health and safety, and with South Africa tax/CSD compliance.

Requirements

• Compulsory briefing attendance (sign the attendance register).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or a CSD registration number (separate PINs for consortium/JV members).
• Submit on official forms: Form of Offer and Acceptance, Schedule of Deviations, Pricing Data, Scope, Site Information; ensure all required SBDs and supporting documents are included.
• Contract framework: NEC3 Professional Services Contract, Main Option A; risk, insurance, and liability provisions as specified (Part C1/C2/C3 data referenced in the RFP).
• Insurance and liability: maintain specified cover; respond to risk/register items (e.g., site access, as-built information, cost estimates).
• Submission method and timing: sealed bid documents deposited in the designated bid box by the stated deadline.
• Questions/clarifications: queries close by 07 September 2026.
