Overview

Procurement of professional packing and transport of artworks for the Matereality and A Long Live: Steven Cohen exhibitions. Targets art-handling and logistics providers with experience in fine-art packing, secure transport, and loan-exhibition coordination (e.g., crating, climate-safe handling, risk management).

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in professional packing/transport of artworks (fragile, varied media) per Annexure C guidelines.
• Ability to prepare and manage flight/crate systems and handling for sensitive objects (see Annexure A–D and Annexure B).
• Compliance with tender documentation: complete SBD 4 (Bidder Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points) forms; provide CSD supplier number and B-BBEE status.
• Provide pricing including VAT; quote validity for 61 days; sign and date the submission.
• Registration and pre-qualifications: CSD number; B-BBEE status level; submission of required documents as part of the bid.
