Overview

Procurement of IT Support Services for Overberg Water Board for 36 months. The bid targets Professional Service Providers capable of desktop, server, network, remote access, and on-site IT support across Overberg Water offices, with preference for Western Cape-based suppliers (BBBEE compliant and SANAS-verified where applicable).

Requirements

• Evaluation uses 80/20 PPPFA: Price 80, Specific Goals 20; four phases: Administrative, Mandatory, Functionality, Price/Preference.
• Mandatory requirements: COIDA/Workman’s compensation, location in Western Cape, lease or municipal statement, and key IT personnel with appropriate IT certifications or qualifications (minimum NQF Level 5 or equivalent certifications; ≥5 years’ IT support experience; knowledge of Microsoft, SAGE, VIP or equivalent).
• Service scope includes 14 IT categories (PC setup, network, printers, cabling, remote access, server access, UPS, etc.) and regular on-site/remote maintenance.
• Returnable Schedules: SBD1, SBD3.2, SBD4, SBD6.1; BBBEE verification (SANAS) or sworn affidavit for EMEs; CSD registration; Tax PIN status.
• Financials: Pricing must be submitted on the Pricing Schedule; prices exclusive of VAT; 120-day bid validity; advance payments not offered.
• Other: Supplier due diligence may be conducted; responses must be truthful with potential disqualification for misrepresentation.
