Property Maintenance and Electrical work to be done at Schweizer-Reneke Post Office. The South African Post Office invites bids to appoint an Electrician/contractor to rewire wiring, replace fluorescent tubes with LED, upgrade the DB box, and provide Certificates of Compliance, with on-site assessment required.

Requirements

• Qualified electrician or electrical contractor capable of rewire, LED retrofit, and DB upgrade.
• On-site assessment and delivery of Certificates of Compliance where applicable.
• Compliance with SANS 10142-1, building regulations, and local by-laws.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS and CSD number if no TCS; BBBEE certificate for scoring (consortiums require consolidated BBBEE).
• Pricing in South African Rand (VAT inclusive); proposals via official forms.
• Returnable documents: SBD1, SBD4, Annexure BC, Certificate of Acquaintance, Pricing Schedule/BOQ, etc. (see RFQ package).

• Submission deadline and briefing: Compulsory site inspection 2026-10-07 11:00 at Schweizer-Reneke Post Office; Clarifications by 2026-10-09 09:00; Closing 2026-10-13 11:00.
