Overview

Property repairs, including burglar bar installation at Ixopo Post Office – South African Post Office Limited invites qualified service providers to bid. The scope covers burglar bars plus multi-trade repairs (roof, brickwork, plaster, fencing, lights, garden works) at Ixopo Post Office. Suitable bidders are those with property repairs/installation capabilities and relevant trade competencies; compliance with tax, BBBEE, and supplier registration rules is expected.

Requirements

• Compulsory site inspection: 16 Oct 2026 at 12:00 (Ixopo Post Office, 52 Margeret Street).
• Tax/compliance: submit SARS PIN or TCS; if using CSD, provide CSD number; BBBEE certificate if applicable; VAT registered where relevant.
• Documents: bid on official forms; include SBD1, SBD4, Pricing Schedule (Annexure F, see file), Annexure BC (Confirmation Bidder); confidentiality/ND agreement.
• Evaluation: BBBEE points; multi-company bids require consolidated BBBEE; specify lead partner in JV/consortium.
• Other: bids must be in ZAR, inclusive of VAT, valid for 120 days; late submissions rejected; contract to be signed on SBD7 if successful. (See RFQ documents)

• Submission deadline: 22 Oct 2026 at 11:00; email bids to SAPORFQ@POSTOFFICE.CO.ZA (see RFQ).
• Briefing: mandatory briefing 16 Oct 2026 at Ixopo Post Office; attendance details in the RFQ.
• Documents to submit: SBD1, SBD4, Pricing Schedule (Annexure F, see ANNEXURE F - PRICING SCHEDULE.xlsx), Annexure BC (CONFIRMATION BIDDER.docx), Confidentiality Agreement, and any returnable documents.
• Pre-qualification: provide SARS PIN/TCS, CSD number if no TCS, BBBEE certificate (and consolidated BBBEE for JV/Consortium).
• If choosing to proceed, proposals via the specified email; ensure all pricing is in South African Rand (Excl. VAT in the unit price block).
