Overview

Proposed construction and equipping of a computer laboratory at St. Boniface Magare Senior School, Muhoroni Constituency. This is an Open Tender by NG-CDF Board, inviting eligible constructors to bid for the works and ICT fit-out.

• Eligible bidders include private firms or joint ventures with the capacity to perform civil works and ICT lab fit-outs; validity of JV arrangements and representative authority are required.
• Key compliance: anti-corruption declarations, no debarment, conflict-of-interest controls, and tax compliance as part of eligibility. Foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan nationals.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications: evidence of ability to perform the contract; JV arrangements if applicable; avoid conflicts of interest; comply with anti-corruption and competition rules.
• Regulatory registrations: registration with the National Construction Authority (NCA) prior to contract signature; tax compliance certificate.
• Local content: foreign bidders must meet the 40% local input requirement.
• Tender security: submission of a tender security or tender-securing declaration as specified in the tender documents.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, joint venture documents (if applicable), authorization to sign, technical proposal, and other documents listed in the tender forms.
• Site access: site/works inspection rights; pre-tender clarifications and possible site visits as per ITT provisions.

How to Apply

• Deadline: completed tenders must be received by 19 June 2026 (closing time per the tender documents; see Tender Notice for exact time). Open tenders; electronic submissions are not permitted (Tender Notice).
• Submission method: physical delivery to NG-CDF Board, Harambee Sacco Building, Haile Selassie Avenue, 10th floor, Nairobi; tenders must be in sealed envelopes with separate ORIGINAL and COPIES as required (see ITT 21-22).
• Required documents: Form of Tender, Schedule (priced BOQ), Tender Security or securing declaration, Joint Venture documents if applicable, authorization, and technical proposal; conformity and other forms as per Section IV (Tender Forms).
• Registrations: evidence of eligibility per ITT 3, including NCA registration, and Kenya Tax Compliance.
• Site briefing/visit: pre-tender site visit and/or briefing may be arranged; minutes and addenda to be issued as needed.
