Overview

-proposed construction and equipping of Olokurto Deputy County Commissioner’s Office comprising of 7 offices in Narok North Constituency-. NG-CDF Board invites sealed tenders for a Works Contract under Open Tender; submission is in hard copy only (no electronic tenders). The work is for construction and fit-out of a government office in Narok North; bidders should have civil/works, building and infrastructure capabilities, with appropriate registrations and compliance.

Requirements

• Eligible Tenderers: private entities, state-owned entities, individuals, or a JV; JV members jointly liable; no participation by public officers; no conflicts of interest; must not be debarred; must provide Certificate of Independent Tender Determination where required.
• Compliance: comply with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015 and Competition Act 2010.
• Qualifications: tenderer’s documented ability to perform the contract; evidence of ownership/control information; foreign bidders must meet local content rule.
• Local content and origin: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of contract inputs from Kenyan citizens/locals; evidence to be provided.
• Local registration: National Construction Authority registration required before contract signature (not a tender condition).
• Tax: valid Kenya Revenue Authority tax compliance certificate.
• Tender security: as specified in the Tender Data Sheet; can be a tender security or tender-securing declaration.
• Currency and pricing: tenders in Kenyan Shillings; Bill of Quantities to be fully priced; adjustments/forecasts per TDS if applicable.
• Other: site visit/pre-tender meeting as specified; addenda may be issued; evaluation will follow Section III criteria.
