PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF THREE CLASSROOMS AT KITHIMA PRIMARY SCHOOL IN BUURI CONSTITUENCY

Overview

NG-CDF Board invites bids for the proposed construction and equipping of three classrooms at Kithima Primary School, Buuri Constituency. This is an Open Tender for a Works Contract; eligible bidders must comply with Kenyan public procurement rules. Foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs locally.

Requirements

• Open to all eligible tenderers for a Works Contract; compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act and anti-corruption declarations.
• Bid security: KSh 100,000; acceptable forms include cash, bank guarantee, or insurer’s guarantee.
• Eligibility/qualifications: must meet JV rules if forming a joint venture; not be debarred; no conflicts of interest; provide Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Local content: foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; provide evidence.
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration prior to contract signing; tax compliance (KRA).
