Overview

Procurement of construction, completion and equipping of Nyamache Level IV Hospital, including building works, external works, boundary wall, chapel and solarization, on a multi-year contract basis. Open to all eligible and qualified tenderers; bidders must meet PPRA guidelines, be registered with relevant authorities (e.g., National Construction Authority) and comply with national procurement rules; foreign-input and tax compliance requirements apply.

Requirements

• Eligibility to tender under PPRA guidelines; compliance declarations and anti-corruption commitments.
• Tender security of KES 1,000,000 (or as specified) and ability to provide performance-related securities if required.
• Registration with the National Construction Authority (NCA) before contract award (registration not required to tender, but is a contract condition).
• Foreign input rule: at least 40% of inputs sourced from Kenyan citizens or local sources; evidence to be provided.
• Tax compliance: valid tax clearance or equivalent evidence.
• No debarment; absence of conflicts of interest; JV rules if applicable (joint venture members jointly liable; JV agreements or letters of intent required).
• Compliance with environmental, health and safety standards as per tender documents.
