Procurement of construction services for the Proposed Construction of 3 Bodaboda sheds and renovation of existing sheds within Kivumbini Ward. Open National Tender issued by the County Government of Nakuru; the call is reserved for Women. Open to qualified bidders with relevant works experience.

Requirements

• Registration and certifications: register with the National Construction Authority; meet any PPRA requirements; tax clearance certificate.
• Local content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers; JV rules apply if engaging a joint venture.
• Tender security: submit the required Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration in the amount specified in the TDS; security must be valid through tender validity.
• Tender validity: tenders remain valid for the period stated in the TDS (and may be extended if requested).

• Submission deadline: 13 October 2026 at 10:00 AM; electronic submissions permitted; hard copies required as well. (see Invitation to Tender)
• Submission method: soft copies via the supplier portal; hard copies in a plain sealed envelope deposited in the Tender box at Moi Road, Nakuru County Government Headquarters; indicate tender number and description. (see Invitation to Tender)
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, Tender Security, JV Agreement if any, Qualifications information, technical proposal; ensure pages are serialized; include any requested pre- or post-tender clarifications. (see ITT sections in attached documents)
• Pre-tender briefing/site visit: details per the Tender Data Sheet; questions to be submitted in writing by the date specified; minutes and addenda to be published as applicable. (see ITT 7–9)
