Overview

Procurement of a Works Contract for the Proposed Construction of a Model Twin ECDE Classrooms with Offices and an Ablution Block at St. Antony Kihenjo in Kamburu Ward. Requirements

• AGPO-YOUTH reservation; bidders must qualify accordingly.
• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act and related rules; include Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; avoid conflicts of interest.
• Eligibility rules: no disqualifying conflicts; not a debarred entity; JV rules apply if applicable.
• National Construction Authority registration required before contract signature; foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs locally; valid Kenyan tax clearance.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration required; JV must submit Joint Venture Agreement or letter of intent.
• Prices in Kenyan Shillings; tender validity 126 days; complete tender documents as specified (Form of Tender, BOQ, etc.).

• Submission: sealed bids in a drop-off envelope at the Kiambu Headquarters Tender Box (Ground Floor, Main Reception, Governor’s Office) by 10:00 AM on 28 August 2026; late bids rejected.
• Include: Form of Tender, priced BOQ, Tender Security or declaration, JV agreement if applicable, authorization to sign, and documents proving eligibility/qualifications.
