Overview

Procurement of construction works for a model twin ECDE classrooms with offices and an ablution block at Munyaka ECDE, Kijabe Ward, Kiambu County, with eligibility reserved for AGPO - Women. Requirements

• AGPO - Women reservation; eligibility via AGPO registration.
• If forming a JV, a Joint Venture Agreement (or letter of intent to execute) must be provided; representative authorized to act for the JV.
• Nationality and eligibility rules; avoid debarment; comply with PPRA/CA requirements.
• Foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers; provide evidence.
• Registration with the National Construction Authority (NCA) is required prior to contract signature.
• Tax clearance or exemption evidence; comply with tax obligations.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as specified; consider validity per TDS.
• Submit Form of Tender, BOQ schedules, and necessary qualification documents; page serialization required; confidentiality where applicable.
• Tender validity: 126 days from opening.

• Prepare and submit a sealed bid including: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, Tender Security or Securing Declaration, JV documents if applicable, and all required qualification/evidence.
• Submission method: DROP-OFF SEALED BID ENVELOPES in the Tender Box at County Government of Kiambu Headquarters, Ground Floor, Main Reception (Governor’s Office), Kiambu, by 10:00 on 28 August 2026. Tenders opened publicly soon after deadline.
