Overview

Procurement of works for the proposed construction of a model twin ECDE classrooms with offices and an ablution block at Muthurumbi ECDE in Ng’enda Ward (FY 2026/2027). Bids are open to National bidders but are reserved for AGPO - Youth; qualified youth-owned firms should consider bidding, with preference to local Kiambu participants and contractors experienced in school construction.

Requirements

• Open national tender reserved for AGPO – YOUTH; joint ventures allowed with agreed representation.
• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act; sign honest-candor declarations; no debarment.
• Eligibility: no conflicts of interest, no corrupt or collusive practices; submit required independent tender determination.
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration required before contract award/signature.
• Tax compliance: valid tax clearance certificate.
• Foreign bidders (if any) must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers; provide evidence.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as specified; proposal must be substantially responsive.
