Overview

Procurement of a works contract for the proposed construction of a model twin ECDE classrooms with offices and an ablution block at Takinya Community ECDE in Kijabe Ward, Kiambu County. Requirements

• Reserved for AGPO – Youth; eligible bidders must be registered with AGPO as youth.
• Comply with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act provisions; sign declarations on anti-corruption and independent tender determination.
• Eligible tenderer must meet ITT eligibility criteria (no public officer conflicts, not debarred, etc.); JV rules apply if a joint venture participates.
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration required before contract signing.
• If foreign bidders participate, at least 40% of inputs must be sourced from Kenyan suppliers; provide evidence.
• Tax clearance certificate or exemption as proof of fulfilling tax obligations.
