PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A STOREY BUILDING CONSISTING OF 6 NO. CLASSROOMS AT EMATIHA PRIMARY & JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Overview

Open tender for the construction of a storey building comprising 6 classrooms at Ematiha Primary & Junior Secondary School. Open to all eligible tenderers, including joint ventures, under Kenya’s Public Procurement rules. Bidders must meet anti-corruption declarations, tax compliance, and National Construction Authority registration at award; foreign bidders must meet local content and regulatory requirements (as specified).JVs allowed; no conflicts of interest.

Requirements

• Eligible bidders: open to all, including joint ventures.
• Compliance: Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, anti-corruption declarations, no debarment, fair competition.
• Registrations/qualifications: National Construction Authority registration at award; tax compliance; declarations of ownership/conflicts; other ITT criteria.
• Local content: foreign bidders must meet local content requirements (40% inputs) and related regulations.
• Tender security: KSh 300,000; cash/bank guarantee/approved insurance; valid 180 days beyond tender validity.
• Tender validity: 180 days.
