PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A WARD OFFICE, LAKEVIEW WARD, NAIVASHA CONSTITUENCY

Overview

The County Assembly of Nakuru invites bids for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF A WARD OFFICE (LAKEVIEW WARD, NAIVASHA CONSTITUENCY) under a fixed-price contract. Open National Tender, open to qualified builders at NCA 8 Building Works and above.

Requirements

• NCA registration at Building Works level 8 or above; registration evidence required before contract signing (not necessarily at tender submission).
• Compliance with anti-corruption and debarment rules; not debarred; sign Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Tax compliance: valid Kenya Revenue Authority tax compliance certificate (Kenyan tenderer).
• Foreign bidders: must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan nationals; if a JV, nationality rules apply.
• Tender security: Kenya Shillings 10,000.
• Joint Venture rules: if forming a JV, JV Agreement or letter of intent to execute one must accompany the tender; members’ liability and authorization requirements apply.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 9 November 2026 at 10:59 am local time; late tenders will be rejected. (INVITATION TO TENDER)
• Submission method: electronic submissions allowed via the EgpKenya portal; hard copies must be sealed and delivered to the Clerk’s reception or sent by post (soft copies via Egp portal).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Schedule/BoQ, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, JV documents if applicable, authorization, qualifications, technical proposal, and any other documents per the Tender Data Sheet. (Section IV and ITT 11)
• Pre-qualification/registrations: National Construction Authority registration; tax compliance; ensure eligibility per ITT 3; foreign inputs rule per ITT 3.10.
• Briefing/site visit: pre-tender site visit and/or meeting may be held; minutes and addenda issued as needed (see ITT 7).
