Overview

The NG-CDF Board invites open tenders for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF CHIEF’S OFFICE AT KONJARA ASSISTANT CHIEF’S OFFICE IN KILIFI NORTH CONSTITUENCY (Tender No. K.A.C/ONT/49/2025-2026). This is a works contract for construction of a Chief’s Office building (and related works) in Kilifi North; suitable for civil/ building contractors, with joint venture allowed. Bidders must meet Kenyan procurement and construction regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Eligibility: private entities, state entities, individuals, or joint ventures; JV members jointly liable; no conflict of interest; not debarred; local and foreign bidders must comply with nationality/procurement rules.
• Compliance: adhere to Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act; sign Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; maintain fairness and avoid collusion.
• Key qualifications/documents: Form of Tender; Joint Venture Agreement (if JV) or letter of intent; Tender Security or tender securing declaration; qualifications information; technical proposal; priced Bill of Quantities; conformity/technical proposal per ITT requirements; tax compliance where required.
• Domestic/foreign content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; NCA registration required before contract award.
• Currency/price: tenders in Kenyan Shillings; prices include all duties and taxes as of 30 days before submission.
• Site access: site inspection encouraged; site visit at bidder’s cost; pre-tender clarifications handled in writing.
