Overview

The Narok County Government invites bids for the construction of the Iretet Waterpan in Naikarr a Ward, Narok West (a Works Contract). This is an Open Tender; suitable for civil/water-works contractors with appropriate registrations and qualifications.

• Eligibility and qualifications: comply with ITT 3 requirements, including no debarment, conflict of interest controls, and appropriate JV rules if applicable; foreign bidders must meet local-content rules (40% from Kenyan sources); NCA registration required before contract signature; Kenyan tax compliance certificate.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, Tender Security, Joint Venture Agreement if JV, authorization letter, qualifications, and technical conformity documents (as specified in the tender forms).
• Other: submission must be physical (no electronic tenders); pages must be serialized; full tender documents may be downloaded for free from Narok’s website or PPIP; site inspection encouraged but not mandatory unless required by TDS.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 11:00 AM on 20 July 2026 (TENDER DOCUMENT). Late tenders will be rejected (NOTICE).
• Submission method: sealed hard-copy tenders in envelopes clearly marked with the tender number/name; delivered to the Narok County Government Tender Box at the entrance of Narok County Government offices.
• Documents to complete and submit: Form of Tender, Bills of Quantities, Tender Security, JV documents (if any), authorization, qualifications, and technical proposal forms (as per Section IV).
• Pre-qualification/registrations: NCA Registration is required before award; Kenyan tax compliance certificate is required; compliance with anti-corruption and competition rules.
• Site briefing/visit: site inspection encouraged; pre-tender meeting details (if any) and minutes to be shared per TDS; attendance is not mandatory unless specified.
