Overview

Open tender for the PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF NJIRU CHIEF’S OFFICE DIGITAL HUB in Kasarani NG-CDF, Nairobi. Bidders should be capable civil/works contractors with experience in multi-disciplinary construction (civil, electrical, mechanical) and related works, plus compliance with Kenyan public procurement rules.

Requirements

• Eligibility and integrity: no conflict of interest, not debarred, and must sign Independent Tender Determination and related anti-corruption declarations.
• Registration and licenses: must be registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) and meet any JV requirements in the TDS.
• Tax and foreign-sourcing rules: valid tax compliance certificate; foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens.
• Documentation: submit Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, applicable JV documents, authorization, and qualification evidence.
• Tender security: Ksh 200,000 as specified in the tender notice (or accordance with the TDS); security valid through tender validity/extensions.
• Site and procurement process: conduct pre-tender/site visits as allowed; adhere to addenda and clarifications; prepare documentation in the specified formats; serialize pages.
• Compliance with acts: follow Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, Competition Act; maintain confidentiality until award.

• Submission: hard-copy tenders only; delivered to Kasarani Constituency NG-CDF office, Njiru, Nairobi, by the deadline (14/10/2026 issue; closing 22/10/2026 08:00) as per (Invitation To Tender). Electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Packaging: tender in a sealed envelope with an “ORIGINAL” bundle (tender documents) and “COPIES”; include all required copies and any alternative tender if permitted.
• What to submit: Form of Tender, priced BoQ, Tender Security or Security Declaration, JV documents if applicable, authorization letter, qualifications, and technical proposal (see Section IV and ITTs).
