Proposed Construction of One Classroom at Rodi Primary School. Open national tender for a Works Contract to construct a single classroom at Rodi Primary School. Suitable bidders are qualified construction firms (including joint ventures) with relevant works experience and the ability to meet procurement rules (NCA registration, tax clearance, etc.). Site visits are encouraged but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Eligible tenderers: private firms or joint ventures; must avoid conflicts of interest and comply with anti-corruption rules; must sign the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Mandatory registrations/clearances: National Construction Authority registration before contract signature; valid Kenya tax clearance.
• Local content: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers/contractors.
• Tender security: tender security or tender-securing declaration required.
• Documentation: complete Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, JV agreements if applicable, and all other documents listed in the tender data.
• Compliance: tenders must be in Kenya Shillings, include all taxes, and be serialized with pages numbered.

How to Apply

• Obtain documents from the Public Procurement Information Portal and NG-CDF website (see attached Tender Document). If downloaded, forward your particulars to the specifiedNG-CDF email to enable clarifications (see Tender Document for address).
• Deadline and submission: deliver one original and one copy to the Tender Box at the Seme NG-CDF Office, on or before June 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM (see Tender Document for the exact phrasing). Electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Site/briefing: site visit is not mandatory; pre-tender meeting, if any, is not required.
• Questions: submit in writing no later than June 25, 2026 (see Tender Notice and ITT provisions).
• Opening: tenders will be publicly opened at the specified venue after the deadline (details in the Tender Document).
