Overview

This tender is for the proposed construction, repair and maintenance of roads in Kitutu Chache North, Kitutu Chache South and Nyaribari Chache sub-counties. It is an Open Tender by the Kisii County Government, funded by the Road Maintenance Levy Fund, with a Youth category emphasis. Requirements

• Compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015 (anti-corruption declarations) and sign the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Eligibility rules: JV allowed; joint venture representatives; members jointly and severally liable; no tendering in more than one Tender; no conflicts of interest.
• Debarment and nationality rules: not debarred; eligible for Kenyan public procurement; foreign bidders to source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens.
• Registration and tax: National Construction Authority registration; valid tax compliance certificate.
• Tender security: provide Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration as specified in the TDS.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Joint Venture Agreement (if JV), qualifications documents, and a technical proposal as required (Section IV/V).

• Submission: manually deposit in the tender box outside Block A, Kisii County Treasury (or deliver to the Director Supply Chain Management, Room 6, Kisii Treasury).
